SO LAST YEAR, OE COMPLETED A STATE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT.
THAT PROJECT INCLUDED A SELECTED NUMBER OF, UH, STATES, ACTUALLY SEGMENT OF THOSE STATES.
AND THOSE STATES ARE WEST PARK ROAD, HILL ROAD, THE MIDDLE PARKWAY, WINTER GREEN ROAD.
AND ALSO LATER WE ADDED A PORTION OF NORTH WESTMORE LAND ROAD FROM THE BREEZE ON 10 MILE CREEK TO WINTER GREEN ROAD.
AND THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
THIS WAS A DECONSTRUCTION PROJECT HIGHER WHERE WE REMOVED THE EXISTING, UM, ASPHALT AND ECON FOR MOST OF THE PARK.
NOW WE ARE GOING TO FOCUS ON WEST PARKER BAY ROAD.
THIS IS A PORTION OF WEST PARKER BAY ROAD AND BETWEEN THE, SO WEST MALL LAND ROAD AND GLASS DRIVE.
AND AS YOU SEE THIS PICTURE, THIS IS A PICTURE, UH, FROM THE PAST BEFORE CONSTRUCTION.
WE DID THE CONSTRUCTION IS IN 2023 LAST YEAR, BUT THIS WAS A PICTURE BEFORE CONSTRUCTION.
AND AS YOU SEE THE PAVEMENT CONDITION, IT WAS REALLY BAD.
NOW WE COM OUR CONTRACTOR RELIABLE PAVING, COMPLETED THE CONSTRUCTION ON UM, PARKER MILL ROAD.
THIS SEGMENT, UH, IN SUMMER OF 2023.
HOWEVER, UH, LATER WE POUND DOCKS THAT EMERGE ON THAT AREA, ESPECIALLY ON THE EASTBOUND LANE OR APPROXIMATELY, UH, AT THREE SEPARATE, UM, LOCATIONS WITHIN A 500 FEET DISTANCE.
SO, UH, WE ARE GOING TO RECONSTRUCT THAT PORTION IN THE PAST.
WE CONSTRUC IT A TOTAL 2018 THICKNESS OF WHICH THE TOP 12 INCH WAS ASPHALT.
NOW, UM, WITH THIS NEW RECONSTRUCTION, O WILL REMOVE THE TOP WELLBEING ASPHALT O FAST PLACE 18 THICK RAINFOREST CONCRETE, AND THAT RAINFOREST CONCRETE WOULD ACTUALLY IMPROVE THE DURABILITY AND QUALITY OF PAVEMENT.
AND ON TOP OF THAT RAINFOREST CONCRETE OR THE CONTRACTOR WILL PLACE FOUR INCH ASPHALT.
AND IN ADDITION TO THAT, UH, THE CONTRACTOR WOULD INSTALL T ROOT BARRIER ON THE SOUTH SIDE ALONG THE EASTBOUND LANE, APPROXIMATELY 550 FEET T ROOT BARRIER.
AND THEY WILL ALSO, UH, UP THE CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE.
THEY WILL, UH, DO THE PAVEMENT MARKING OR, AND THEY ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OR TRAFFIC CONTROL.
FOR THIS PROJECT, THIS IS A SLIDE THAT GIVES YOU AN IDEA ABOUT T ROOT VARIANT.
PROBABLY ALL OF YOU ARE, UH, AWARE OF IT, BUT UH, WE STILL WANTED TO SHOW, AS YOU SAY ON THIS SLIDE, THIS IS A THREE.
UH, SO BASICALLY, UM, OUR CONTRACTOR WOULD, YOU KNOW, INSTALL A BARRIER, UM, AT THE, IS, UH, LIKE IN THE RIGHT OF WAY HIGHER THE SHOULDER IS, UH, IS SUPPOSED TO BE.
SO, AND IT IS, IT WILL BE UH, BASICALLY 36 FEET DEPTH.
AND, UH, THIS IS THE SECTION DETAILS.
AND UH, IN REALITY IT LOOKS LIKE THIS, UH, BLACK, UH, MATERIAL, WHICH THERE WILL BE NO STALLING.
THIS WILL ACTUALLY HIDE, PUT THE PROTECTION TO THE PAVEMENT.
ESPECIALLY THERE ARE LOTS OF TREES NEARBY ON THIS, UH, SECTION OF ROAD IS, UH, OCCASIONALLY OR POTENTIALLY MIGHT, UM, IMPACT THE PAVEMENT CONDITION AND ESPECIALLY THE SUB BASE AND SUBGRADE.
SO NOW WE ARE GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE ROAD CLOSER AND TRAFFIC TWO PLAN ON THIS SLIDE, THIS IS THE OVERALL, UH, SLIDE.

UH, ARROW FROM WESTMORELAND ROAD TO 0.2 DRIVE.THIS IS THE SEGMENT OF ROAD THAT WILL BE CLOSE TO TRAFFIC.
BOTH LANE WILL BE CLOSED, EASTBOUND AND WESTBOUND.
AND, UH, YELLOW ARROW THAT IS SHOWING THE SEGMENT WHERE THE ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION WORK WOULD TAKE PLACE.
NOW WE ARE GOING TO LOOK AT THE TRAFFIC IMPACT OF TRAFFIC AND THE TRAFFIC, UH, DETOUR PLAN.
AS YOU SEE, UM, THE RED, UH, ARROW IS THE ROAD CLOSER BOTH LANE.
AGAIN, UH, THE YELLOW UH, ARROW ON THE UM, RED ARROW ON WEST PARKER BAY ROAD.
THAT IS WHERE THE CONSTRUCTION WILL OCCUR.
AS THAT SEGMENT OF PARKER BAY ROAD WILL BE CLOSED TRAFFIC ON THE SOUTH WESTMORELAND ROAD, THEY WOULD ACTUALLY, UH, WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE A RIGHT ON WEST PARKER ROAD.
THEY WOULD HAVE TO GO NORTH, UH, TOWARDS BELTLINE ROAD OR EAGLE DRIVE ROAD EAGLE DRIVE.
UH, HOWEVER, UH, TRAFFIC ON WEST PARKER BAY, WHICH IS WEST OF WESTMORELAND ROAD, WILL BE ABLE TO, UH, USE THAT ROAD FULLY, NOT, UH, EASTBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND.
AND ALSO IF YOU LOOK AT ON THE EAST SIDE, UH, THE EAST PART OF WEST PARKER BAY ROAD FROM, UH, WHEN TO DRIVE TO HAMPTON ROAD, THAT WILL BE COMPLETELY OPEN.
SO, UH, TRAFFIC WOULD BE ABLE TO DRIVE EASTBOUND AND WESTBOUND.
BUT THERE ARE, BUT UM, ANY TRAFFIC LIKE THE RESIDENTS WHO LIVES, UM, IN THIS SUBDIVISION ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDE OF PARKER MILL ROAD, THEY WOULD BE ACTUALLY ABLE TO COME AND ENTER INTO THE SUBDIVISION USING THE AVAILABLE, UH, ROAD OR DRIVEWAY INTENTS AND, UH, THE ALLEYWAY THERE.
UM, SO THERE WILL NOT BE ANY IMPACT, UM, FOR THIS RESIDENCE.
UH, AS YOU NOTICE ON THIS SLIDE, THERE IS NO RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION OR, UH, COMMERCIAL NON RESIDENTIAL BUSINESS THAT TAKES DIRECT EXCESS FROM WEST PARKER BAY ROAD WITHIN THE LIMIT OF CONSTRUCTION OR EVEN THE ROAD CLOSER.
SO, UH, ACTUALLY, UH, NO RESIDENTS WILL DIRECTLY GET IMPACTED.
BUT, UM, THE SUBDIVISION ON THE NORTH, UH, THE PEOPLE WHO NOW USE EAST GLASS DRIVE, UH, THEY WOULD ACTUALLY HAVE TO TAKE THE, UH, ALLEY NAME, TAKE DRIVE AND THEY CAN THEN GO UP TO THE DESOTO DRIVE AND GO TO PARKER BAY ROAD.
OR THEY CAN USE SETTLE HEAD DRIVE AND THEN THE SORT DRIVE AND GO TO PARKER BAY ROAD.
OR IF THEY WANT TO GO TO EAGLE DRIVE, THEY CAN GO TO THE SORT DRIVE AND GO ALL THE WAY TO THE NORTH TO EAGLE DRIVE.
NOW I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU MORE CLOSE INFORMATION IN THE FOLLOWING THREE SLIDES.

IT JUST SHOWS THE HOW AND HIGHER DEFIANCE SIGNAGE FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL WILL BE INSTALLED.

AND ALSO ANOTHER MASS BOAT WOULD BE, YOU KNOW, STALLED AT PARKER PIT ROAD AND WESTMORE ROAD THAT WOULD ACTUALLY, UH, GIVE THE INFORMATION.
BESIDES ALL THE SIGNERS, THERE WILL BE MASSES BOAT THAT WILL GIVE THE INFORMATION THAT AT THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH WESTMORELAND AND PARKER HILL, THE TRAFFIC WOULD HAVE TO TAKE A LEFT TURN OR RIGHT TURN FOR TRAFFIC DETOUR.
THEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DRIVE,

UM, WEST EASTBOUND FROM THAT LOCATION.SO AS WE ARE TALKING, THIS SLIDE BASICALLY GIVES YOU MASS IN-DEPTH INFORMATION.

BASICALLY FROM THE RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION TO HAMPTON ROAD SIGNALED INTERSECTION.
AS YOU SEE IN THIS PORTION, UH, THE TRAFFIC WILL BE ALLOWED FOR BOTH DIRECTIONS.
SO ANY, UH, RESIDENCE, THEY WILL BE ACTUALLY ABLE TO, UH, GO TO THEIR, UH, HOME OR THEY CAN LEAVE THEIR HOME AND THEY CAN DRIVE ON THIS SEGMENT OF WEST PARKER BAY ROAD AND CAN GO TO HAMPTON ROAD OR EASTBOUND, UH, UH, PARKER BAY ROAD.
THIS IS A SLIDE THAT SHOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING ON EAGLE DRIVE, SO NOTHING NEW, UH, NO RESTRICTIONS OR ANYTHING, UH, ON THE EAGLE DRIVE, BUT BASICALLY THIS SLIDE, THE PURPOSE OF THIS SLIDE IS TO SHOW ANYONE, UH, WHO IS DRIVING, UH, THE SOUTH WESTMORELAND ROAD MAY NOT BE, UH, WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE A, A RIGHT TURN ON PARKER BAY ROAD, BUT THEY CAN CONTINUE DRIVING NORTH AND THEY CAN TAKE A RIDE ON EAGLE DRIVE IF THEY WANT, OR THEY CAN DRIVE FURTHER NORTH.

THE CONTRACTOR WILL MOVE IN ON OCTOBER 28, BASICALLY ONE WEEK FROM NOW.
UH, THEY WILL FIRST START IN INSTALLING ALL THE TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAGE AND, UH, THE DURATION PROJECT.
THE DURATION OF CONSTRUCTION IS TWO MONTHS, 60 CALENDAR DAYS, OBVIOUSLY WEATHER PERMIT MEETING.
UM, WE, UH, THE CONTRACT THAT WE ALLOW THEM IS 60 CALENDAR DAYS.
THAT IS, IT IS SHOWING DECEMBER 20 JUST AFTER CHRISTMAS.
BUT WE ARE HOPEFUL IF WHETHER CONDITION REMAINS FAVORABLE.
THE PROJECT WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE CHRISTMAS, BUT, UH, THEY ARE ALLOWED TO, UM, CONTINUE TILL, UM, DECEMBER 28 IF NECESSARY.
AGAIN, WHETHER PERMITTING, IF WHETHER CONDITION IMPACTS THEIR AWARD OR MAY HAVE TO ALLOW THEM EXTRA DAYS TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT.
