Camelia Browder, Managing Director of Finance, presented the FY 07-08 budget calendar.

4. 2008-2012 Capital Improvement Program and request for projects
Tom Johnson, Managing Director of Development Services, reviewed the CIP and the blue cards - call for projects.
5. Economic Development Update
Scott Livingston, Executive Director of the DeSoto Economic Development Corporation gave an update on current DEDC projects.
(Editor's Note: introduced DEDC board members explained ED is a long process wants to bring in more sales tax for the City to help balance out the tax base reviewed "power center" planned for SW corner of Belt Line Road and I-35 reviewed Town Center project and DEDC's commission of retail research DEDC working on filling vacant spaces and making investments in our community )
Tracie Hlavinka concluded the Town Meeting and reminded everyone they can view this meeting on the cable channel and on the City's web site.
