Management Report for Z-1159-08
Mr. Edlyn Vatthauer, Planning Manager, presented the management report.
Chairperson Vaughn asked the Commission if there were questions of staff. Hearing no response, she opened the public hearing and asked if there was anyone who wished to address the Commission either in favor or in opposition. There being no response, she closed the public hearing and asked the Commission if there was any discussion or comments.
Vice Chairperson Simerly stated that this proposed ordinance has been written to take some of the subjectivity out of the chain link fence requirement and alleviate some of the challenges faced by staff while interpreting the current ordinance. However, it is tough to write an ordinance that fits every situation and the chain link fence requirement has been no exception.
Chairperson Vaughn asked the Commission if there were any other comments or concerns. There being no response, she asked the Commission for a motion.
