Chairperson Vaughn called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM and noted for the record that seven (7) Commissioners were present.

(2) Approval of the Minutes for the Regular Meeting on September 23, 2008.
Motion to Approve to Approve the Consent Agenda item. Moved by Commissioner Donald Dewberry, seconded by Commissioner Dwight Chambers.

F. PUBLIC HEARING:
(3) Consider Case Z-1159-08; to Amend the City of DeSoto Zoning Ordinance to Amend Section 41.3, Fencing, Walls & Screening Requirements. This amendment to Section 41.3 of the Zoning Ordinance would require that chain link fences be located a minimum of 150’ from the front, rear or side property line adjacent to a street.

Mr. Edlyn Vatthauer, Planning Manager, presented the management report.
Chairperson Vaughn asked the Commission if there were any questions of staff. Hearing no response, she opened the public hearing and asked if there was anyone who wished to address the Commission. There being no response, she closed the public hearing and asked the Commission for a motion.
