Chairperson Vaughn called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM and noted for the record that seven (7) Commissioners were present.
E. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:
(2) Approval of the Minutes for the Regular Meeting on March 25, 2008.
(3) Approval of the Minutes for the Worksession on May 27, 2008.
(4) Approval of the Minutes for the Regular Meeting on June 24, 2008.
Motion to Approve to Approve the Consent Agenda Items. Moved by Commissioner Donald Dewberry, seconded by Vice Chairperson Tom Simerly.

F. PUBLIC HEARING:
Chairperson Vaughn announced that case Z-1152-08; an Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance adding the new and unlisted use "Sports Facility/ Gymnasium" has been withdrawn. She also stated that once additional research on the parking requirements has been completed and staff has had the opportunity to present findings to the Planning & Zoning Commission at the next worksession, staff would bring this case before the Planning & Zoning Commission to take action.

(5) Consider Case Z-1151-08; an Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance revising Appendix A-4, Approved Plant List. The proposed change would add drought tolerant plants to the Approved Plat List in the Zoning Ordinance.

Ms. Linda Zombeck, Senior Planner, gave the staff report.
Chairperson Vaughn asked the Commission if there were any questions of staff. Hearing no response, she opened the public hearing and asked if there was anyone that wished to address the Commission either in favor or in opposition to case Z-1151-08. There being no response, she closed the public hearing and asked the Commission for a motion.
