Officer Troy Elliot has been working for the DeSoto Police Department for almost a year. He was born in March of 1988 and grew up in DeSoto until he was 12 years old. Troy graduated from Red Oak High School in May 2006 and graduated from San Houston State University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice in May 2012. After graduation, Troy worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where he worked for eight months at the Ferguson Unit in Midway Texas as a Correctional Officer.
