Councilmember Edgin announced the Lions Club and Rotary Club were looking for volunteers and stated the Lions Club will be hosting an open house on February 28th at 12 noon.

Councilmember Zander announced the HOA Involvement Workshop to be held on Saturday, February 25th.

Councilmember Respess announced the new TIP411 crime reporting system.

Councilmember Lockhart announced the Corner Theatre Production of "Free Man of Color" through February 26th - showtimes Fri/Sat 7:30 $20; Sat/Sun 2:30 matinee $15.

Mayor Pro Tem Valentine announced the Dallas Black Dance Theatre performance on Sunday, March 11th at 3 p.m. in the Corner Theatre. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.

Councilmember Ledbetter put out a call for citizens interested in serving on the DeSoto, Texas Historical Foundation. She also announced the 3C Series with Constable Williams and Mayor Sherman, Thursday, March 1 5:30 - 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
