Edlyn Vatthauer, Planning Manager, provided a PowerPoint presentation outlining the masonry requirements for surrounding and comparison cities. He also presented proposed wording for an ordinance changing masonry requirements and showed examples of items affected.

Council discussion regarding proposed changes and clarification of issues. It was the consensus of Council to consider this item at a later date.

Councilmember Lockhart announced a Nance Farm Grand Opening event, which is invitation only, to be held in November. Marikay Dewberry, Board Member of the DeSoto, Texas Historical Foundation, clarified there will be a public grand opening in April.
