David has been with the City of DeSoto for approximately 1 year as the Senior Building Inspector where he performs combination inspections on commercial and residential projects. However, David started his career in 1985 as an inspector for various cities in the DFW Metroplex.
In 2005, David accepted a position with Bureau Veritas as a third party inspector. During his time there he was promoted to Project Manager overseeing the Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Arlington which took 46 months and was a 1.1 billion dollar project.
David has been a licensed Plumbing inspector for 26 years and holds numerous ICC Certifications including Certified Building Official and Master Code Professional which is the highest certification offered by ICC.
David Resides in Bedford with his wife Amy, and son Hayden.
Little known fact: If you look on the back cover of the International Code Council (ICC) Building Standards magazine, you will find a picture of David. He is the “model” for Bureau Veritas Inspection Division.
