Hodges Mitchell II has been employed with the City since December 2010. He is currently the Recreation Supervisor. He oversees the operations of the RecreationCenter, FitnessCenter, CivicCenter, and Corner Theatre. Hodges is a 1997 graduate of DallasSkylineHigh School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Hodges is very passionate about serving all citizens with exceptional customer service.
In his spare time, Hodges enjoys spending time with his wife, watching sports and movies, playing video games with his friends and family, and serving at the Inspiring Body of Christ Church.
Interesting Fact: Prior to Hodges joining the City of DeSoto’s Park and Leisure Services Team, he played football at the University of Texas on a football scholarship. He played all four years and started for two years at running back. He was 1st team All-Big XII his junior and senior seasons and 3rd team All-American his senior year.
