It was the consensus of Council to do so and the Chamber/Tourism Committee will bring those figures back before Council during the budget review process.

Stephan has a Bachelor of Information Technology in Computer Forensics. He is the proud parent of one son. Stephan loves hanging out at Rodeos and enjoys watching his favorite college football team: Texas Longhorns!

I. ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST

Councilmember Ledbetter announced the Music in the Park concern series at the amphitheatre May 20th. More information can be found on the City's web site. Ms. Ledbetter also announced Toad Holler/Creekfest to be held at Town Center on Saturday, June 12th.

Councilmember Valentine announced another Corner Theatre production "The Gospel at Colonnus", which starts May 28th and runs through June 20th. Shows will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:30 p.m., with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Councilmember Respess announced the DeSoto Urban Challenge to be held on June 12th and sponsored by the DeSoto Chamber of Commerce visit www.desotourbanchallenge.com.

City Manager Jim Baugh stated there will be a presentation at the next Council meeting to review all the events and their respective logistics for Saturday, June 12th.
