Rick has been employed with the City of DeSoto for 5 years. He was originally hired in the Water/Wastewater Department and has advanced to Senior Customer Service Representative in Meter Services.

Rick enjoys all of the different climates he experiences working outside. He also enjoys working with City staff.

Rick has been married for 30 years and has 3 boys; ages 27 and a set of twins age 25.

Rick and his wife have faithfully attended TrinityChurch in Cedar Hill for 27 years.

Councilmember Denise Valentine announced there will be a pictorial display for Black History Month in the City Hall Atrium.

There is a CommunityMissionaryBaptistChurch Youth presentation entitled “We must not forget…”, which will take place Saturday, February 27^that CommunityMissionaryBaptistChurch Youth Facility, 110 W. Belt Line Road beginning at 6 p.m. The program is a theatrical play and other performances designed to remind us of African American contributions and accomplishments.
