3. Ambassador: Mary Ann Fluitt, Municipal Court.
Mary Ann and her husband, Jack, moved to DeSoto almost 31 years ago when Jack was transferred to Dallas from the Houston office of Sun Oil Company. They have 1 daughter, 2 sons and 7 beautiful grand-daughters. Her daughters-in-law are pretty special to her also.
Mary Ann works part time in the DeSoto Municipal Court as a Deputy Court Clerk where she thoroughly enjoys entering the citations officers issue to defendants. She has been with the City a little over 5 years.
Little Known Fact: Mary Ann collects unusual vases. She brought some of her favorite vases with her tonight to share. They are located at the back table as you enter the Council Chambers.
