1. Consider taking a Record Vote on the Proposed Tax Rate and set the date for the Public Hearing on the Budget for FY 2007-2008 and the Tax Rate Adoption for 2007.

Motion to approve the item as presented. Moved by Councilmember Williams, seconded by Councilmember Sherman.

2. Consider taking a Record Vote on the Proposed Candle Meadow Public Improvement District (CMPID) Assessment Rate and set the date for the Public Hearing on the Budget for FY 2007-2008 and Assessment Rate for 2007.

I. ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mayor Waddle introduced Rene Johnson, the new Managing Director of Park and Leisure Services.
Mayor Waddle announced that the Council would be participating in the National Night Out activities with the Homeowners Associations. Police Chief Brodnax and other Police Officers provided transportation to the Councilmembers to attend 30 neighborhood parties.

Mayor Waddle adjourned the meeting 6:14pm.
