Edena Atmore, Finance Director, gave an overview of the new process of receiving "quarterly" budget amendments in lieu of yearly. She highlighted the following (changes):

After an early retirement of 32 years from the State of California as a Purchasing Manager, Elane moved to Texas from California in October, 2010 and began working for the City of Desoto at the Action Center on July 11, 2011. She then moved over to the Financial Services Department on March 15, 2012 as the Payroll Technician/Administrative Assistant where she currently works. Elane has been involved in Theatrical Productions for over 20+ years and in her spare time, she has volunteered in the area of Domestic Violence, both in California and in the Dallas area. She also taught various Bible classes at her previous church in California. Elane loves music, spending time with her family and friends, reading, decorating, antique and thrift store treasure hunting and traveling when she can.
