1. Consider authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute an Agreement for Professional Services with T. Smith Inspection and Testing, LLC (TSIT), Alliance Geotechnical Group, Inc., Team Consultants, Inc., Rone Engineering Services, Ltd., and ECS Southwest, LLP, to provide on-call geotechnical engineering and materials testing services and establish a budget in an amount not to exceed $300,000 for the three-year agreement term, with the execution of each agreement contingent upon successful negotiation of professional fees with each vendor.
The Citizen Appearances portion of the Agenda is an opportunity for the public to address the City Council on any subject. However, in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the City Council cannot discuss issues raised or make any decision at this time. Issues raised may be referred to City Staff for research and possible future action. Note: Citizens will be afforded 3 minutes to speak.
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551. 0415 the City Council may report on the following items: ( 1) expression of thanks, congratulations or condolences; ( 2) information about holiday schedules; 3) recognition of individuals; ( 4) reminders about upcoming City Council events; ( 5) information about community events; and ( 6) announcements involving imminent threat to public health and safety.
