3. Presentation by the Police Department of newly promoted Lieutenant Len Chadwick, Lieutenant Ryan Jesionek and Captain Dustin Munn.
4. Recognition by the Fire Department of Lieutenant Teddy May, Corporal Justin Rivette, Officer Amanda Jay, Officer Kendall McGill and Officer Philip Siegler for their assistance in the emergency evacuation of residents during a building fire at Bolton Boone.

Consider an Ordinance of the City of DeSoto, Texas, amending the Code of Ordinances by amending Chapter 6 titled “Health and Sanitation” by amending Article 6.500 titled “Weeds, Grass and Vegetation” by amending section 6.504 titled "Work and Improvements by City; Notice"; by amending article 6.505 titled "Assessment of Expenses; Lien"; to provide revised notice procedures for violations of the City's Tall Grass and Weeds Ordinances.

1. The City Council will convene into Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to consider the following purchase of land within the City of DeSoto: a. Land located off of Hampton Road and north of Lanette. b. Land located off of Hampton Road and south of Lanette. c. Land located east of Hampton Road and south of Pleasant Run Road. d. Land located east of Parks and south of Belt Line Road. e. Three (3) parcels of land located on Pleasant Run Road, south of Pleasant Run Road, west of Hampton Road, east of Redbud and north of Dalton
